ARDEN MAT and Company Ten
Dear Martin et al.
I have put together a webpage of examples of our work for you, to give you a better idea of what we do and how we work with Trusts and schools around the UK. We provide a range of digital marketing, advertising, and communication services, but based on our previous discussions, I have focussed primarily on our website and video work.
So, please see below a few examples of school Websites (Trust, Secondary, and Primary) and Video Production (Promotional videos and Social media ‘Good News Stories’), to accompany our proposal. I’ve also attached some further information about Company Ten and how we help Trusts like ARDEN.
I hope this helps, and I look forward to speaking with you soon.
All the best,
Edward
Websites
Your website is your shop window. We make sure that it’s clean, tidy, and reflects your brand. We want your audience to know that your school is quality within the first second of visiting your website. Trust us, the same is true with poor websites - it makes you look low quality. We work with industry-leading website specialists e4education - who bring Company Ten’s website designs to life.
Here’s a selection of our incredibly talented website team’s work.

Xavier Catholic Education Trust
The Howard Academy Trust
Greenshaw Learning Trust

Videos
Videos are a huge part of what we do. That’s because the video is the most engaging medium of the 21st century. We use videos to tell our clients’ stories, inform and/or entertain their audience, and pull their potential customers into wanting to know more.
Here’s a selection of our awesome videography team’s work.
WaterBear - The College of Music were looking for a film to showcase their new online learning course. They wanted to feature young and dynamic students studying music in lots of different locations to showcase the flexibility of the course alongside a fresh and exciting feel to the music and edit.
Ellesmere Primary School wanted a fresh and happy promotional video to show off their pupils, and give parents and potential pupils an insight into life at Ellesmere. Our main objectives were to present happy, smiling children, enjoying life at the school, and to capture the genuine desire of the staff, for the pupils to get the most from their primary school experience.
Anglia Ruskin University commissioned a series of brand films featuring some of its students and staff who had inspiring stories and experiences which showcased not only the quality of the university but the diversity of its cohort. These films were used to launch their new content portal to great success and really drove their recruitment campaign.
As part of their marketing campaign, comprising Good News Stories that showcase the Sixth Form's pride in their students, Landau Forte Tamworth Sixth Form wanted to release a thank you video, after lockdown, to give their staff and students the opportunity to thank someone special for the help they received during the Covid-19 lockdowns.
Accrington Academy wanted a promotional video that shone a light on their school, their facilities, and most of all their stafff and students. They wanted to present the public with an accurate indication of what life at the school would be like, for potential pupils and their parents.
Trinity Academy Akroydon wanted to capture part of their annual ‘business week’ event. The children all pitched their invention/product, Dragon’s Den style, to their Headteacher. Who, in true Lord Sugar style, was (shall we say) very to-the-point with his responses. The children loved it!
St James Senior Boys’ School wanted something different from your average school video and wanted to showcase the beautiful buildings and grounds alongside the personality of their pupils. This was achieved with a pupil lead presentation of the school, supplemented with talking-head interviews of past students.
This video was to celebrate the fact that Lambeth College had joined the London South Bank University group. The client was keen to also showcase their pride in being from South London. The target audience was young, future students so we were keen to get something punchy and dynamic to go alongside the spoken word.
North West Academies Trust wanted to introduce their new sports ambassador, Phil Greening (ex-England International Rugby player) and his new sports facility. Which, the students from Rudheath Senior Academy were to have access to, to experience the facilities and meet Phil and learn about his experience on the international sporting stage.
An example of a ‘Good News Story’ advert
One of our most popular packages combines our video production, social media management, Facebook ads and TikTok ads services.
In a nutshell, we create a series of ‘good news story’ adverts, presented like this one, that celebrate your students’ achievements. We get these stories in front of the right people (potential pupils and their parents), in a digestible and influencing way, utilising Facebook ads (which covers Instagram too).
These adverts build trust in the community and showcase the pride that you and your school have in your students. We make it so that applying to your school, come application time, is a no brainer - they want to come to your school!
Neve’s 98% Grade 8 ‘Musical Theatre’ result - Tamworth Sixth Form celebrated their student’s achievement in this short film about Neve.
What our clients say
'I am delighted to inform you that the numbers for both QEMs and 6th Form are up considerably. Through the headteacher's dynamic use of multimedia and their ability to meet with as many parents as possible, the local community is showing their belief in her leadership and their children are making the decision to join us. We have had 219 (previously 152) applications for QEMS and 415 (previously 146) applications for 6th form. We have never had this many applications to either school before.'
- Sarah Findlay-Cobb (CEO of Landau Forte Charitable Trust)
“If you wish to market your school with a high quality, polished product then I cannot recommend Company Ten highly enough.”
- James Kerfoot - Headteacher, Accrington Academy (United Learning)
Organic vs Paid Social Media
Organic social media is the social media that you share with your friends and followers. Paid social media is when we use social media as an advert - to get in front of a new audience. Potential clients/pupils/customers for example.
Facebook/Instagram
Facebook and Instagram are the perfect platform to interact with the parents of pupils of a school. With a slightly older demographic, users still use these platforms to make contact, find out news and interact with brands.
TikTok
TikTok is for the youngsters - the majority of your students will be on TikTok. The short-form, quickly accessible and easily digestible media is where your pupils attention is. For prospective pupils, utilising TikTok is the best way to get their attention.
Facebook Ads
Facebook Ads are the best way to get your message in front of a new audience. Gone are the days when notifying your audience of an open evening by relying on a banner on the front gates. It’s 2022 and their attention is on social media. Go and get ‘em.
TikTok Ads
TikTok ads allow us to get your message in front of a new and young audience (ie. your prospective pupils). We use TikTok ads to grab their attention and provide short reminders of the great things that a school can offer.
We help schools, every day
Here’s some recent work that we’ve done with schools. Their goals varied from increasing numbers, adjusting their reputation and building trust in their community.
The first step is recognising the problem. The next one is doing something about it. These schools did something about it.
Accrington Academy
As part of a series of promotional videos for United Learning, Company Ten produced this promotional video for Accrington Academy and its Sixth Form - showcasing the schools’ facilities, staff and students.
Tamworth Sixth Form
Company Ten developed and delivered a long-term digital marketing strategy with LFATSF comprising; graphic design, video production, digital advertising and social media management.
Manchester Health Academy
During the Covid-19 pandemic, Company Ten were engaged to produce a one-off information video for Manchester Health Academy, highlighting the safety measures delveloped by the school and the Trust.
Ellesmere Primary
Hired by NWAT as part of the their ongoing promotional efforts, Company Ten delivered this highlight/showcase video for Ellesmere Primary School.
