At Company Ten we make a lot of videos, it’s one of the things that we do best. We use videos to tell stories. We use videos to promote a product or service, we use them to inform people, to entertain them or to grab their attention and keep them engaged. We use video because it is the most highly engaged with medium, and engagement is what we use to help schools grow.

Sometimes we use video to help promote a school, as a sort of ‘one-off-look-at-us’ piece. Most of the time, however, we use regular video within adverts, as part of a medium to long term marketing campaign strategy - to help schools grow. Sometimes grow means to help them get more applications, other times it means to help them improve their reputation in the community.

Why do schools need video production?

Well, because it’s the most effective way of telling a story. When we speak to schools, we normally start by asking ‘How do you see your school?’ Quite rightly they are normally very proud of the school, of the students and staff and believe it to be an well performing and welcoming place. We then ask how everyone else sees the school. The response is usually quite different. Here lies the problem. People on the outside don’t see what happens on the inside. We show them what’s on the inside through video and video advertising.
